More Minox Pics!

This past weekend we took a trip to Mankato Minnesota to see the Winter Dance Party 2000 tour. Basically it's John Mueller who plays Buddy Holly in the stage play about his life, along with the guy who plays Ritchie Valens, AND JP Richardson Jr, the real Big Boppers son, who now carries on his Dad's act. Anyway, if you want to know more about the show itself follow this link to "Winter Dance Party Review" where you can also see similar photos taken with a Canon Elph LT that I borrowed from my daughter. Now, on to the Minox work.

These were taken on Agfapan 400, all at 1/50 in not super bright stage light. Notice I was fighting some serious stage lights shining right at me for most shots. These were developed in HC-110 dilution "A" for 6 1/2 minutes at 68 degrees. Seemed about right to me. I won't make any captions about the show itself 'cause this is Minox Photography not the show review! The negs were then scanned in an Olympus ES-10 film scanner at 1770 dpi then scaled down and converted from PICT to jpeg files. I resisted the temptation to do any digital retouching, so what you see is what I got. Sure is nice to just toss the ol "B" into the pocket for events like this! At the end a few shots around the house, captioned as necessary.

This is the dial of a 40's Philco radio we have in the hall. Seemed like a good place to waste a shot.

So my son gets a bloody nose then goes to bed with Kleenex up his nose. Great time for the Minox!

Then we have a few stray shots that have been laying around the computer files:

My sneakers. Available light, 1/50 again on Agfapan 400, but an old expired roll!

Geeze, the traditional "hold the camera out to there and take our own picture" shot.

Me at work on the air.

Very grainey gum machine at work. I should note these past three shots were also pushed to ISO 800.
