Ryans Gallery

These are pics taken by my 13 year old son with his Minox EC. These also are the first negatives he's developed himself. Used the Minox daylight tank, and HC-110 dilution "A" for 6 minutes at 68 degrees. At least I think it's dilution "A". It's the one I've been using for years.. in this case 1/4 oz developer from the bottle to 4 oz of water. He did everything himself, from loading the tank to mixing the chemicals. A very nice job indeed. I scanned the negs on an Olympus ES-10 film scanner, and made rather teeny prints as we're printing them out on photo paper as well as posting them, and face it, I'm cheep, so I made small prints, and I didn't feel like making higher res scans for the web, so you may have to squint a bit, but in real life these all look darn good. I was gonna have him caption these but he's been out bowling, snowboarding and snowmobiling all day, so he'll have to settle for my captions, if any.

These are available light at school

Well, maybe not a secret attack map for the latest battle, but at least a clandestine map from social studies class. And yes, that's a kid playing hockey in the foreground.

Of course any kid would take a picture of his guitar, right?

Oh, yeah, this is Ryan right here. Looks like he let someone else use his EC to take a shot of him!
